Worldhotels reports 29 percent revenue increase for third quarter

Worldhotels, the exclusive collection of the world’s most unique independent hotels, has reported a year-on-year increase of 29 per cent on revenue and a 21 per cent increase on its room night bookings for the third quarter of 2011.

The group attributes this growth largely to increased distribution in all electronic channels, particularly via its products OTA360° and Spider by Worldhotels – tools designed to drive indirect and direct online bookings. The introduction of these management tools provides properties with the opportunity to enhance international visibility, maximise internet bookings and ultimately increase profit margins.

2011 already promised to be a successful year with first quarter results showing an increase of 20 per cent on the group’s room night bookings. This continued growth goes a long way in helping Worldhotels achieve its key objectives this year.
