Queensland’s Thai resort opens new spa
THAILAND-Spicers Tamarind Retreat, the Thai-style resort in Queensland, has launched a new spa. The resort, located near the Sunshine Coast, now features the Spa Anise wellness facility with four treatment rooms and hydrotherapy room complete with a rain shower and steam room. Water for the spa is sourced on site from a deep mineral spring.
Three treatment rooms are twin-bedded, while the single treatment room offers disabled access.
“If the rainforest setting doesn’t relax you, our new destination day spa will,” the resort’s General Manager, David Assef said. “We have created a peaceful sanctuary which offers complete wellness experiences which are individually tailored to our guests’ needs, from a professional spa exclusive facial to a specifically designed remedial massage focussing on improving movement and decreasing pain and comfort.
“All of our therapists are highly qualified in massage and beauty therapy and have completed intensive training to ensure the high standards set by the Spicers Group are maintained,” he added.
